Effect of Different Types of Lights on Growth, Yield and Quality of Kale (Brassica oleracea var. Acephala)

A research project was conducted to investigate the impact of different types lighting on growth, yield, and quality Kale (Brassica oleracea var Acephala), under Prayagraj Agro Climatic conditions. The experiment comprised treatments T0 (Outdoor sunlight), T1 (LED bulb white), T2 tube T3 (General bulb), T4 full spectrum), T5 white + LED T6 T7 T8 spectrum). To study's findings, among various treatment levels, T2(LED white) showed highest values in growth parameters such as plant height (30.01 cm), petiole length (15.07 number leaves per (14.33 leaves). It also demonstrated yield parameters, fresh weight (24.40 gms), yield/bag (50.54 g).
